The only time I remember visiting my Great Grandma Walker was when I was maybe 5? I am not sure. But my Mom and I went to her house and she was sitting in a chair by a window. The sun was shining in the window and she just looked out. She had a crocheted afghan across her legs as if she was cold. I don't remember her saying anything to me, but she may have. My Mom brought fresh strawberries for her. She put them in a bowl and gave them to "Grandma Grace" as we called her. I remember seeing a HUGE smile cross her face as she realized what we had brought. I am sure she thanked us, but I don't remember. We sat with her for a while as she at the strawberries. Then shortly after she was finished she went to lay down and we left.
