In memory of Ethel Elaine Morrill McCleery, beloved Mother and Grandmother.
Born February 28, 1912, Bingham Canyon, Utah., died Aug. 7, 2004, Mountain View, California. Resident of Sunnyvale, California 17 years.
Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward W. McCleery. Three children, Jerry E. McCleery (Claire), San Francisco, California; David L. McCleery, Oakland, California and Michael W. McCleery (Janet) of Sunnyvale, California. Two grandchildren, Julie Anne McCleery, Santa Cruz, California and Kristin Clarice McCleery, Maui, Hawaii.
Long-time teacher in the Salt Lake City, Utah school system, having taught English, Spanish and Special Education. Received Masters in Education from the University of Utah. Mrs. McCleery also taught as a volunteer well into her 80's in the San Jose, California school system.
Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Los Altos, California and the Edgehill Ward, Salt Lake City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, the Family would suggest donations to the Alumni Association of the University of Utah to fund Scholarships.
Viewing, Thursday, August 12, 2004 6:00 to 8:00 pm. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 13, 2004, 11:00 a.m., Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
