Rough English translation: Jens Christensen1671-1720, the two took over after his father, and in 1698 married on Venø with Mette Olufsdatter o. 1680-1718. Her parents were Oluf Madsen on Venø and Johanne Jensdatter, who was the sister of Peder Jensen, who in 1715 bought Bregnholt in Humlum parish.
Jens and Mette had 10 children before she died after the last birth, and then in the beginning of 1720 the tragedy occurred. The eldest daughter Maren lost her leg in an accident the day before her betrothal to Knud Nielsen from Søndergård. She later died of wound fever, but in the meantime her father was also dead.
There were 4 surviving children, including the second eldest daughter Edel. Life was to go on, so later in 1720 she married Christen Christensen Degn, who immediately took over the farm. All guardians on Jens Christensen's side were dead, and the children's interests were taken care of first by Mette's father Oluf Madsen's half brother Villads Madsen in Søndertoftskov, then by her brother Jens Olufsen in Ugelev on Thyholm.
The 3 small children Christen, Anne and Oluf came to Mette's brother on Venø (change 1720 after Jens Christensen, as well as various receipts for inheritance, etc.).
Oluf became a tenant farmer in V. Jølby, Dragstrup parish on Mors, where he was called Oluf Jegind. He died in 1795 and left an extensive descendant), and the son Christen attached to the other part of Stor Nørskov.
Probate 1720 under Højris Jens Christensen Nørskov and his wife Mette Olufsdatter were both deceased within a short period, and the estate was treated together. On March 4, 1720, a shift was held between the orphaned children Edel , 19 years old, Christen , 12 years old, Anna , 10 years old, and Oluf , 4 years old, for which children the uncle Jens Olufsen from Uglev on Thyholm acted as guardian.
On behalf of the Lordship, Conference Councilor Paul von Klingenberg on behalf of Højriis, Christen Michelsen Uttrup met with the assessors Peder Larsen from Vøle and Søren Jensen from Nørby.
The first step was now to register and assess all the effects of the estate. It follows that fæstegaarden which was half a yard, had a crew of three jumps, valued at a total of 7 rdr., 1 foals that were not assessed " because of the icke seems to kand lefue ofuer in Winter ", two steers, 8 rdr., 4 cows, 12 rdr., 8 sheep, 2 rdr. 4 mk., 2 small heifer calves and 1 stud calf, 2 rdr., 1 sow, 2 rdr. 2 mk., 2 geese and 1 gas, 3 mk. Of the tools can be mentioned 1 wooden cart with scales, 2 rdr. 2 mk., 1 gl. cart, 2 mk., 1 plow with iron and dredge, 1 rdr., ½ harrow with wooden teeth and 1 whole wooden harrow, 1 rdr., 2 hoes, 5 mk., 2 steel handles, 1 shovel, 2 shovels, 1 cutting box m knife and 1 small grindstone. In the barn were 2 tdr. Rye, valued at 5 rdr., 2 tdr. Barley, 3 rdr. 4 inc. and 8 sk., and 6 tdr. oats á 6 rdr., while in the attic in the barn lay 4 skpr. rye and 1+ e.g. oats.
In the farmhouse, which contained 1 living room, 1 cask and 1 utility room, there were, among others. a. 1 pine table with cupboard underneath, 3 mk., 1 small chest with iron fittings, 4 mk., in pine chest with lock and key, 1 rdr. 2 mk., 1 small oak chest with lock and key, 4 mk., 1 small oak box, 2 mk., 1 pair of beds with accompanying bedding, 1 pair of beer barrels and various kitchen utensils and 1 copper pot kettle, the latter was valued at 11 rdr.
About Jens Christensen's leftover clothes, it is stated that they consisted of 1 pair of leather trousers, 1 calico sweater, 1 new gray calico dress, 1 gl. breast cloth, 1 gl. leather sweater, 2 pairs of socks, 1 pair of boots, 1 pair of shoes, 1 hat and 1 hat.
As mentioned above, the deceased was not only a tenant farmer but also a fisherman, and of gear for this profession there were 2 fishing boats, valued at 6 rdr respectively. 4 mk. and 3 rdr. 4 mk., Some wood for the production of 1 oar, 1 large gl. baad, which was rented out to 3 fishermen in V. Assels, 1 fishing net of flax and hemp, which was being manufactured, as well as some tar.
The probate court now asked the eldest of the children, Edel Jensdatter , and the guardian if they knew more, which should be stated the estate for income, and Edel Jensdatter now presented a small purse which contained 12 species and 14 rdr. 4 mk. She stated, however, that the purse belonged to her, as a few years ago she had received it from her uncle, which was confirmed by the guardian, so the purse with contents was not entered as an estate.
Note: this maternal uncle has turned out to be Peder Jensen Breinholt , who around 1715 had bought Brejnholt in Humlum parish, Ringkøbing county for private ownership (sources: various receipts for inheritance, etc. 1721).
However, there was in the estate another cash amount of 65 rdr. 3 mk. 2 sk., And in addition the deceased had money in credit with 5 different neighbors.

***********************
In original Danish:
4 mk., 2 smaa kviekalve og 1 studekalv, 2 rdr., 1 so, 2 rdr.
